Climate and the right roof tile for Nigeria

Nigeria's southern belt is hot, humid and coastal, with salt-laden air around Lagos and dusty harmattan winds inland — a combination that corrodes ordinary galvanised sheet quickly. For these conditions we usually recommend stone-coated metal roof tiles on a Galvalume (AZ150) base for salt-air corrosion resistance.
