A composite roofing tile with a galvanized steel core bonded between an ASA weather cap and a PVC base. It marries the load-bearing strength of steel with the acid-, alkali- and salt-resistance of engineering resin — built for industrial and highly corrosive environments where both a bare metal sheet and a plain resin tile fall short.
PSP tile is our industrial anti-corrosion line. It is a different animal from our synthetic resin tile — it has a steel core inside, so it carries load like metal while the resin skins keep it from rusting.
A galvanized steel core gives the tile the span and load-bearing capacity of a metal roof, while the ASA and PVC layers seal the steel away from acid rain, salt air and chemical fumes that would rust a bare sheet within years.
It is specified where ordinary color-coated steel fails fast — chemical and fertilizer plants, coastal and high-salt zones, aquaculture and wet processing. The resin skin resists acids, alkalis and salts that eat through paint and zinc.
The metal core lifts fire performance to Class A (tested by China's national fixed-fire-fighting & fire-resistant components quality inspection centre) — a level plain resin tile (B1) cannot reach.
The composite build damps rain noise and drum, insulates better than bare metal, and has a low thermal-expansion coefficient so it stays dimensionally stable across hot-cold cycling. Color is held in the ASA cap, not surface paint.
Unlike our pure-resin tile, the PSP tile has a metal heart. The steel core is laminated between an ASA weather cap and a PVC base so the steel never contacts the corrosive atmosphere.
